069 - THE ROLE OF SEX IN COMICS!

Turn the lights down low and put on some Kenny G, because this week the ACP are talking about Sex. In comics of course, and despite everyone thinking that it's going to be immature and crude, the gang tackle various forms of sex in sequential storytelling. BRISTOL COMIC EXPO 2016 SPECIAL!

The Awesome Comics Podcast stormed the gates of Bristol Comic Expo as it made its triumphant return, and when not making a spectacle of themselves they managed to get some interviews with a whole heap of great independent creators! Emily Owen also stepped up to help out once again and bagged an interview of her own! There's talk of kick-starters, editing anthologies, paying artists for their work, scrumpy cider, Nandos and the convention itself!

Comic Book Stores are some of the best places in the world, and where would us comic fans be without them? Vince, Dan and Tony talk about what they think makes a good store and get some amazing recommendations from listeners. Also, with San Diego Comic Con churning out loads of awesome news and trailers, the gang take some time to talk about the stuff they're excited about. Its a good old fashioned pub chat style ramble of a show thats full of chuckles and talk of this medium we all love.
